The Ilana (ee-LAH-nuh) Bistro Table is a handcrafted hardwood table designed for morning coffee, evening drinks, or displaying treasured pieces throughout the home. Built one at a time in my Texas workshop. This piece features a clean, elegant design with a round top and a sturdy pedestal base. The legs and top supports are joined to the pedestal using sliding dovetails for long-term strength and durability. The clean, timeless design complements a variety of spaces—from reading nooks and living rooms to apartments, offices, and bedrooms. Each table is made to order and can be customized in your choice of hardwood and finish. Back story: Ilana (ee-lah-nah) is the feminine form of the Aramaic and Hebrew word Ilan, meaning “tree.” It appears several times in Daniel Chapter 4 as King Nebuchadnezzar describes his second dream: “The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth.” -Daniel 4:11 Ilana is still a common name today.
